The third World Kungfu Festival was heid successfully in Shiyan, the home of internal kongfu, from which people around the world further their understanding of kungfu.

During the festival，the diciples of Wudang sect won the admiration of the spectators with their consummate kungfu. The success of the kungfu festival displayed the achievements of Wudang internal kungfu. Master Chen harvested marvellous fruition：the gold medal of Wudang Sword, the silver medal of Wudang Internal Fist Style, the gold medal of the pairs performance of Wudang Horsehail Whisk and Wudang Sword by Chen Shixing and Qing Feng zi, and the performance of Wudang XuanGong, winning the group gold medal.

The festival provided an opportunity for Master Chen to display Wudang kungfu almost to its extreme and to gain the recognition of both his martial arts peers and leaders from all walks of life.

In mid-May of 2009, Secretary LI of Wudang Mountain Special District accompanied by Mr. Xu, the chief of Wudang Kungfu Bureau, inspected our academy. After the inspection, Mr. Li spoke highly of the contribution we had made to the development of Wudang kungfu. The recognition and support from Wudang Mountain Special District is the most valuable gift to Master Chen, a most suitable birthday present for our academy as it celebrates its second anniversary.
