It’s the 13th of Oct., it is a peaceful day of clear and blue skies. The reporter makes an interview face to face with Master Chen who expounds his many rigorous years of experience in Qing Gong, and his practicing methods and their benefits. He says there are 5 steps of QiGong practice. The first step is Hun Yuan Zhuang Gong which refers to the movement of the universe or the Tao which is the force behind all phenomena. In the Hun Yuan Tai Chi system, Gong Fa is very important. It is the foundation of the system. The training of Gong is to nurture and cultivate qi, or internal energy. The second step is leaping like a frog it requires digging a ditch, then the practice of leaping in and out while increasing depth gradually. The third step is Dao Gua Jin Gou which translates as: hangs upside down the golden hook, and involves hanging upside down by the feet for set intervals of time, increasing each time with proficiency. The Fourth step is to run across the water as fast as a dragonfly this is done by placing piles just below the surface of water and running across them, the speed is very important, so go as fast as possible. Finally, it is “ Fly along the edge, walk along the wall”. What’s more, Master Chen agreed the crew to shot live-action. And this is combining everything you have learned to demonstrate the power of Qing Gong. A NOTE OF CAUTION. Though the process is simple enough, it requires exact positioning and various other tedious details. And for this reason a qualified instructor is necessary. If one practices without the supervision of a qualified instructor, you could cause serious injury without meaning to, or could possibly cultivate the wrong type of qi.
