Wudang Taiji 28 Movements
Wudang Taiji 28 Form consists of 28 groups of movement. This form originates from the original Wudang San Feng Taiji 108 Form. Though Wudang Taiji 28 Form appears to be ancient, it was actually a simplified version of Taiji 108 form, to make it easier for practitioners to remember.
As all Taiji forms, this one uses softness to overcome the hard, the inactive overcome the active. This form is good for strengthening body & self-defense. By practicing it, people can convert strength into inner energy and then into spiritual energy. The practice combines Kungfu with inner alchemy & helps people to achieve longevity, clarity & physical strength.
All forms of Wudang Taiji incorporate movement with stillness. If practices properly, besides the improvement of physical health, it can also integrate the internal & external movements together to create an overall feeling of well-being, |
