2)Training contents:

Tai Ji is an internal training method that was created by Zhang San Feng, a legendary Daoist priest. Contrary to the widespread misconception that Taijiquan is simply a calisthenic exercise for the elderly, it is actually a deep internal practice that requires great dedication and a strong determination.  In fact, Taiji is a complete system composed of three kinds of Gong Fa: Taiji Gongfa, Liangyi Gongfa and Wu Ji Gongfa. Each GongFa has derived its own branches with its own training purposes and methods, but they are all integrated and complementary to the others.

Taiji GongFa: Taiji is the balancing interaction of yin and yang. Under the Taiji System, Taijiquan is the form that we use not only to cultivate ourselves but also for learning to develop and understand feeling in our bodies and how to integrate that into movement. In Taijiquan practice we learn to conceal hardness within the softness of movement, breath through the Dantian and use our intention and internal awareness to guide our movement.

Taiji GongFa includes Wudang Sanfeng Taiji 13 form, Wudang Taiji 28 form, and Wudang Taiji Sword.

Liangyi Gongfa: Liangyi is the separation of yin and yang. Under the Taiji System, Liangyiquan is for the use of the energy that we have cultivated through our practice. In Taijiquan, we combine the soft and hard, whereas in Liangyiquan practice, we separate the soft and hard. In Taijiquan, all movements are at the same speed, with the same balance in softness and hardness at once, but in Liangyiquan, the movement is slow and soft one moment, followed by fast, sudden movement, called fali, the next. The power of Liangyiquan is explosive, resembling a bomb detonating; its practice is more for use in practical fighting application.

Liangyi GongFa includes Wudang Xuanwu Quan,Taiyi Wuxing Quan, Fuhu Quan (Tiger form), and Bagua Zhang (Palm)

Wuji GongFa: Wuji refers to QiGong, including three Tao Lu: Daoyin, Stance and Meditation. Under the Taiji system, practicing Wuji Gong is a process of gathering “Jing (Essence), Qi (Energy), and Shen (spirit)” , which are three necessary vitalities for our health. In Daoism, to strengthen and practice our “Jing, Qi, and Shen” is the ideal way of becomming healthier, so Wuji is also acknowledged as the road to immortality.

Wuji GongFa includes Daojiao Huogu Qigong, Wuxing Qigong (Five Animals Qigong), Daomen Baduan Jin Qigong, Hunyuan Zhuang Gong, Taiji Yinjin Zhuang, and Daojiao traditional health-preserving Qigong.
