Rules & Regulatioons of China Wudang Kungfu Academy

Our Main Goals
To spread Chinese traditional culture by promoting Wudang Kungfu;
To strengthen the physique of the people around the world;
To spread both Chinese traditional culture and Taoist culture;
To exploit the Wushu potentials of our students;
To create an international Kungfu exchange environment.
Master Chen Shixing and his fellow coaches are doing their best to create a better training ground here at the Wudang Kungfu Academy. Master Chen hopes all the students will love and care for each other as brothers and sisters, and that they will cultivate themselves during their stay here, striving to be worthy offsprings of Wudang Kungfu.

As a student, you will learn and study real Kungfu of an orthodox school, but please read and familiarize yourself with the following rules and regulations.

Ⅰ. Questions related to training should be brought to the attention of your coach. Questions about life at the school should be brought to the attention of the school staff.
Room cleanliness and personal hygiene should be kept at all times.
No smoking anywhere at anytime for any of the students.
All students are forbidden to take unidentified guests into the school.
Students are to follow the training and rest schedule. If any students need to leave the school or have any other questions, they are to notify the staff and coach.
Students must follow the coach’s instructions and not to attempt to perform any unsafe movements by themselves.
For the safety of the school and students, do not attempt to repair electrical fittings or purchase electrical appliances of poor quality.

Ⅱ. Follow the sage Confucious’ words “be merciful and charitable, hardworking and thrifty, humble and prudent”
1. Be merciful and charitable to each other in this academy, also to all the people around us. It is our destiny and fate that we meet here, so we should be like brothers and sisters. Love each other and help one another. Follow Shifu’s guidance, safeguard the academy’s reputation and protect environment.
2. Being hardworking and thrifty is the basic requirement for self-cultivation, the regulation of the family, the governing of the country and the establishment of peace throughout the world. It is so here in our academy.
3. Kungfu can not be learned in a single day or night. Dripping water can wear through a stone, Wudang Kungfu comes from an immense Taoist culture. Every student should not be arrogant but humble and prudent while studying.

Ⅲ. Respect the teachers and their teachings，and try to understand the old Chinese saying, “one day as a teacher, whole life as a parent”. Study the Chinese language and culture diligently, otherwise, you may find it hard to understand some essential elements of kungfu.
The Academy and Shifu have the right to punish those who violate these rules and regulations.
