Spring

Wudang Mountain is covered by thick snow in the early Spring, we are always deeply moved by its purity and holiness. It's said one can predict a year's harvest through the thickness of the snow, so we can say Wudang mountain is a valuable land with a good geomantic omen.

China Wudang Kung Fu Academy is located at the foot of Wudang mountain. students come back to study after the Spring Festival. Both familiar and strange smiling faces are hidden in thick clothes. At this time, few tourists come here, while our students think it is the best time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. It seems that the holy mountain only belongs to us, and we have merged completely into the Mountain.

Summer

Wudang Kung Fu Academy is always cool in summer, because there are a large number of trees around the academy, and wind blows through opening places in the yards.

Listening to various birds’ joyful songs, our students get up early to train and start a new day. Morning breeze in summer is comfortable and can remove all tiredness. They can watch the sunrise after jogging, and are silenced by its majesty .

The end of the summer is the happiest day for students. They can appreciate the orange flowers on the mountain, savour the faint aroma of grass and watch the smoke rising from chimneys at the foot of mountain.

Autumn

Wudang Kung Fu Academy is near the Gushen Temple (the original way to the peak of the mountain), neighboring Yuanhe Temple. The scenery is pleasant and this is the best place for kungfu learners. Yuanhe Temple lies between Yuxu Palace and Yuzhen Palace, therefore students usually go to practice kungfu there, which flavors the boring training life. Master Sanfeng’s bronze statue, which is usually shown on the TV, can be seen here whenever you want. Since people can tour the Wudang Mountain, many tourists and some kungfu fans come to learn in our academy, as the Chinese saying goes, “a person in favourable position gains special advantages”. Behind Wudang Kung Fu Academy are rolling hills which are covered with orange trees. Students are free to pick the golden oranges which are an essential part of the enchanting scenery.

Winter

Villagers feel like sitting around the stove and talking freely. Generally speaking, there are two choices for the Kung Fu learners after training, either staying indoors or sweeping leaves in the yard. Both methods can warm the body, and the only difference is that the former is static and the latter is dynamic. We all like warm weather, while the experienced villagers are more in favor of cold weather for it may bring a good harvest and fewer pests.
